I told myself, quitting my corporate job in Qatar, and getting one-way ticket to San Paulo in February 2015.
I was 27 and had a strong fear to wake up one day with family, kids, job and tones of responsibilities, which won't allow me to roam around the world wild and free. I strongly felt that it's time to go. I wanted to run before it's too late, so i did. Initially planned 6 months of backpacking turned into "2.5 years and counting" of life on the road across South and Central America.
